Product guide: Excel import
Excel import
Bring confirmed departures from a spreadsheet into the calendar.
Enabled per company
Confirmed tour import from Excel
Review a .xlsx file and import confirmed departures with matched guides and booking references.
- Who uses it
- Company managers
- Where to find it
- Calendar → Import
Why it helps
Bring confirmed bookings into the schedule without recreating every departure and assignment manually.
How to use it
- If Import is enabled for your company, open it in Calendar and choose one populated .xlsx sheet. Files can contain up to 5,000 bookings and must be 15 MB or smaller.
- Check the file timezone. Review the parsed dates, times, tour names, cities, booking references, and guide email addresses.
- Resolve rows marked Needs attention. Guides match active company contacts by email; missing or ambiguous matches require review. Missing tour templates can be created during import.
- Review the exact import and skip counts, then save the ready rows. Check the resulting departures and confirmed assignments in Calendar.
Example
Import confirmed bookings supplied by a partner, keeping voucher numbers and partner references with each departure.
Keep in mind: This is an append-only import, not spreadsheet synchronization. Existing voucher numbers are skipped; duplicates within a file and assignment conflicts require attention. Multiday itineraries are unsupported. Review the rates, prices, and tags of newly created templates before reusing them. If Import is absent, contact support about availability.
