Welcome to EasyPlanning! We like to keep it straightforward. Here are the key points of our Terms and Conditions:
Accounts
We offer two types of accounts: EasyPlanning Freelancer Account (“EFA”) and EasyPlanning Business Account. The basic, default account is an EFA with a Free tier, which can be upgraded or downgraded to other EFA tiers as needed.
With an EFA account, you can create and manage an unlimited number of projects (subject to fair usage). Depending on your subscription tier, your account will be tied to a specific set of features and usage limits. If you have unique needs beyond the available tiers, you can always inquire about switching to a Business Account, which offers customized features and unlimited access based on your business requirements.
You can cancel your subscription or trial anytime, but you are responsible for doing so before your next renewal payment. Your subscription will automatically renew if not canceled beforehand.
Our products and services are non-transferable and limited to a single account. Users are entitled to one account per person and may not register multiple accounts with different email addresses.
The user confirms that they have the right to manage and organize all projects and content uploaded to the app or have obtained permission from the content owner before uploading.
The user is responsible for ensuring that all uploaded content complies with applicable laws, including European, Austrian, or any relevant regulations.
EasyPlanning will not be held liable for any errors that may occur when using our products and services.
The user acknowledges that the services offered by EasyPlanning are under continuous development.
The minimum age required to register for an account is 16 years old.
EasyPlanning GmbH (referred to as “EasyPlanning”, “we”, “our”, “us”), is an Austrian startup founded in 2024, dedicated to simplifying project management for freelancers and companies. EasyPlanning is designed to replace spreadsheets and paperwork, allowing you to customize and manage everything in one place, streamlining your workflow.
EasyPlanning refers to our proprietary products, software, and services that together form our project management platform currently marketed under the name “EasyPlanning.” The platform consists of various components:
The App
- ("EasyPlanning"), the core tool that enables the management of projects, tasks, and workflows. The EasyPlanning App is freely available for mobile and desktop devices on Google Play, the App Store, and via our website.
As some of our services may involve software downloaded to your computer, phone, tablet, or other devices, you agree that we may automatically update this software and that these Terms will apply to such updates.
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between you, as the licensee and End User (“you”, “your”, “customer”, “consumer”, “user”), and EasyPlanning GmbH. These Terms govern your right to access and use EasyPlanning, including our website easyplanning.com (“website”), Dashboard, and EasyPlanning Marketplace (“marketplace”). These Terms also cover any information, text, images, audio, video, and other content (“content”) that you provide when using our services, as well as any data collected for the purposes of setting up an account or for use and display, accessing information provided by or in EasyPlanning, and managing or organizing projects.
By using, accessing, or registering with any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Terms are triggered immediately in any of those instances.
Appropriate Use
Users must be at least 16 years old, the legal age to form a binding contract, and not be a person barred from receiving products or services under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction. The minimum age requirement applies to all account types, except for registered Educational Institutions.
- The right to change any and all software, applications, functionalities, design, content, and delivery systems;
- Update or revise our services;
- Temporarily or permanently cease providing any part of EasyPlanning or any of the content contained therein, to you or to users generally;
- Place limits on your access to, or on access generally, to EasyPlanning or any of its features or functionalities without notice to you;
- Expressly reserve the rights to use content generated, uploaded, and/or sent by you for marketing, branding, and communication purposes (via social media, website, etc.) or any other means regarded by us as meaningful;
- We will not replicate content generated by you for direct commercial/selling purposes and expressly require consent to the provision and collection of location-based services and information in connection with EasyPlanning.
Our rights include:
If an ownership conflict is found (e.g., duplicated projects), we will contact you via email to request a change or deletion of the conflicting project. If there is no response and you have a Free EFA account that has not been used for more than a year, we reserve the right to deactivate the particular project in conflict.
Accounts
If you are of legal age and wish to use our services, such as accessing our website or Dashboard, you may be required to register for an account with EasyPlanning. Registering an account requires that you provide us with certain personal information and establish a username and password. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. We may terminate your account should we determine that the information you provide is inaccurate, incorrect, or for any other reason within our discretion.
As a user, you are responsible for safeguarding your account information and for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions. We will not be held liable for any damages that may arise due to a third party accessing or using your account and/or obtaining access to any information provided by you in connection with your account or for any other loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.
Following registration, an activation email will be sent to you.
Self-service Account Upgrades:
- The basic level of account is the Free EasyPlanning Freelancer Account.
- You can upgrade/downgrade as needed, based on the features or usage required.
- Prices are subject to change.
- Educational/Enterprise Upgrade – For institutions, companies, and organizations that require more robust features. Includes invoicing by EasyPlanning.
- Yearly subscription plan – Includes two months for free. Automatically renews.
Usage Limit:
We limit the usage per account according to the selected tier. You are responsible for tracking your usage through the dashboard. You can set an additional cost limit for your account to avoid overages. Exceeding your limit will incur additional charges based on the specific plan. These fees can be avoided by upgrading your account or purchasing an add-on. Add-ons are one-time payments that provide additional resources for the current subscription month.
When the usage limit is reached, certain functionalities may be deactivated. Notifications via email will be sent once your account has used 75%, 90%, and 100% of the usage limit.
Users who recommend EasyPlanning, write a blog post, create an EasyPlanning tutorial, or similar activities may receive an upgrade from Basic to Pro for one month or a free month. Rewards can be used for a maximum of three times in one year. Coupons and rewards do not apply to Business accounts.
Products and services are limited to the user and are not transferable. Users must refrain from allowing third parties (private, business, or otherwise) to access their account without obtaining our written confirmation beforehand. We may suspend, disable, or terminate your access to EasyPlanning and any of its services, features, or functionalities at our sole discretion and without prior notice to you should you violate any of our Terms. Content deleted by the user will be permanently deleted within 30 days from all our servers.
Payment and Billing
The purpose of the basic Free EasyPlanning Freelancer Account is to encourage project management and efficiency. We hold the right to revoke a basic Free EasyPlanning Freelancer Account and put it on hold if we determine that you are not eligible for it. Eligibility could be affected by incorrect registration information and/or repeatedly registering for free accounts with different email addresses.
By entering your payment details, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment means used by you through your account to purchase any product or service. From the point at which you enter your payment details, your monthly subscription will begin and continue for one calendar month. Unless canceled up until the day before your billing date, you authorize the subscription cost to be charged.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a subscription with a Free Trial for a limited period to individual, non-corporate users. You may be required to enter your billing information to sign up for the Free Trial. If you do enter your billing information when signing up for a Free Trial, you will not be charged until the Free Trial expires. On the last day of the Free Trial period, unless you cancel your subscription, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fees for the type of subscription you have selected.
At any time and without notice, we reserve the right to (i) modify the terms and conditions of the Free Trial offer, or (ii) cancel such Free Trial offer.
You can cancel your subscription anytime, but you are responsible for doing so before your next renewal payment. If you forget to cancel before the renewal date, we may, under exceptional circumstances and without prejudice, apply a credit to a future purchase. No refunds will be issued.
The services we use for payment and transactions are PayPal and Stripe (and Apple on EasyPlanning’s iOS App). We highly recommend reviewing their terms and policies. In case of any problems or questions
